Red's Bar was a legendary nightclub in Akron, Ohio from the mid
1950's to the late 1980's. It's success was due to the charismatic
owner, Arnie Shapiro, the national music acts he brought to Akron and
most importantly, it's faithful customers.
This video recounts the memories of Arnie's life and the history of
Red's Bar. Relive the early days, the summer outdoor appreciation
parties, and the musical history through stories, photos and home
movies taken at the bar. Included are interviews from Arnie, his sons,
